Responsibilities
• Deliver courses and modules to learners, including curriculum development, course assessment, project/internship supervision, mentoring of students and providing pre-, in- and post course advice.
• Lead or represent in school committees and contribute to administrative/management tasks (i.e., outreach, student recruitment, project management etc.) as and when required.
• Spearhead and identify new opportunities, initiatives, and collaborations with industry.
• Plan, lead, manage and undertake project or co-developed training courses with industry.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Device Engineering, or Product Design, or a closely related discipline.
Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience in the medical technology sector, including IoT-enabled and connected medical devices.
Demonstrated exposure to regulated product development environment is preferred.
Candidates should possess knowledge, skills, and hands-on workplace experience in at least three (3) or more of the following areas:
Sustainability and environmentally responsible practices within the biomedical manufacturing sector
Verification and validation (V&V) planning, execution, and documentation
Quality management systems and regulatory standards, including ISO 13485 and/or IEC 60601
IoT and connected medical devices, including embedded systems, sensors, connectivity, and data integration
Medical device product design and development, including design controls and lifecycle management
Strong communication and good interpersonal skills, with ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
Candidate who is conversant in workplace training, adult education, blended learning, tech-enabled teaching tools and Project-based Learning will be an advantage.
