Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage Command Center operations and personnel deployment.
  • Manage and supervise duty teams during each shift, ensuring smooth operations and optimal response to incidents and alarms.
  • Oversee real-time monitoring of building infrastructure, safety, security, and emergency preparedness systems using the IOCC platform.
  • Lead and coach command center personnel in incident management, escalation, and resolution procedures.
  • Administer and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), including emergency protocols and pre-planned responses.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, service providers, and contractors for issue resolution, system maintenance, and crisis management.
  • Perform weekly performance reviews and analytics, generating incident, operational, and building system performance reports for management.
  • Conduct regular training and upskilling of command center staff in accordance with the latest technologies and industry standards.
  • Review and recommend updates to IOCC policies, systems, and processes for continuous improvement.
  • Assume the role of Site Incident Commander for major incidents when required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and safety requirements.

Qualification:

  • Diploma or higher in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, or a related field.

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in control rooms, security operations centers (SOC), or building management environments.


Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to supervise, coach, and mobilize duty personnel efficiently.
  • Incident Response: Expertise in managing and coordinating emergency and urgent operational incidents.
  • Communication: Proficiency in written and verbal communication to engage stakeholders and document responses.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills for root cause analysis and resolution of building operations issues.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), security systems, or integrated facility management technologies.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
     

Knowledge /Skills (preferred):

  • Attended/ Certified Facility Manager or Facility Management Professional by IFMA
  • Attended/ Certified Green Mark Accredited Professional (Facilities Management)
  • Attended/ Certified Fire Safety Manager
  • WSQ Certificate in Facilities Management
  • Security Supervisor (SS) License
  • WSQ Senior Security Supervisor / Security Supervisor
  • Training in Incident and Emergency Response, Contingency Management, and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Training in building security systems and operations
