Mechanical Design Engineer | SolidWorks | Semiconductor | Up to S$10,000

Location: Science Park II, Singapore

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and structures for semiconductor testing equipment.
• Produce detailed 3D models, 2D drawings and engineering documentation using SolidWorks.
• Perform mechanical design reviews, component selection and design optimisation.
• Support prototype development, equipment assembly, testing and design validation.
• Identify and resolve mechanical design issues to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with electrical, software and R&D engineers on equipment integration.
• Support design improvements and engineering requirements for mass production readiness.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams on technical specifications and design changes.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in mechanical design, equipment development or precision engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Experience designing semiconductor equipment, automated machinery or precision mechanical assemblies is preferred.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, mechanical tolerances and manufacturing processes.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to travel overseas for technical training when required.
