Duties:

• Assess patients’ functional abilities and limitations in daily living activities (ADLs).
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life.
• Conduct therapy sessions focusing on mobility, self-care, fine motor skills, cognitive skills, and rehabilitation goals.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and home modifications.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on safe techniques, exercises, and strategies for daily activities.
• Monitor patient progress, review outcomes, and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning.
• Participate in discharge planning, case discussions, and rehabilitation meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control procedures, and hospital policies.

Working hours: Mon-Fri office hours
Location: West

Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and fully registered with AHPC
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferably with neuro-rehabilitation
