Job description

Duties:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and clinical evaluation.
• Conduct therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language development, voice control, and cognitive-communication skills.
• Provide swallowing assessments and dysphagia management, including recommendations for safe feeding practices.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, home programs, and communication strategies.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in patient records.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient rehabilitation and discharge planning.
• Prepare clinical reports and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
• Participate in case conferences, audits, and continuous professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and clinical protocols.

Working hours: Mon-Fri office hours
Location: West/ North/ Central

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registered with AHPC
• Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience preferably with neuro-rehabilitation preferred
