Salary Budget: S$4,500

Job Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchasing activities for indirect goods, services and CAPEX requirements.

• Review and validate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure compliance with procurement procedures and approval processes.

• Coordinate competitive bidding exercises, including 3-bid processes and RFx activities.

• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), follow up with suppliers and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and order information in SAP.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoice, GRIR and purchasing-related queries.

• Support low-value supplier negotiations and contract discussions.

• Follow up on supplier issues, including non-conformance, rejected goods and returns.

• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues when necessary.

• Promote the use of e-catalogues, SAP Ariba and approved purchasing channels.

• Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal procurement policies and maintain data accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline.

• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in indirect procurement and/or CAPEX.

• Hands-on experience managing the PR-to-PO process.

• Experience coordinating 3-bid exercises, RFx activities and supplier management.

• Proficient in SAP ERP; SAP Ariba experience is highly preferred.
