Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations for generator spare parts based on customer and distributor requests
  • Process sales orders in SAP/ERP, and end-to-end tracking through delivery
  • Monitor order status, backorders, and delivery timelines; follow up on delays.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery
  • Act as key contact for distributor enquiries on parts availability, pricing, and deliver
  • Support distributors in identifying correct spare parts using parts manuals, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Provide advice on lead times, alternatives, and superseded parts
  • Maintain parts pricing structures, discounting, and quotation consistency; support SAP price updates.
  • Work with sales managers on competitive pricing strategies and margin control
  • Liaise with service and engineering teams to validate part numbers and application suitability
  • Support service, maintenance, overhaul, repair, and retrofit projects with accurate parts lists
  • Monitor spare parts demand trends and support inventory planning for key distributors
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams on stock allocation and urgent parts requests
  • Track parts sales performance, backlog, and order fulfilment KPIs
  • Prepare regular reports on parts sales, quotation conversion rates, and service support activities
  • Highlight risks (e.g., stock shortages, delays) and propose corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2–5 years of experience in parts sales, aftermarket support, or customer service, preferably within genset, heavy equipment, or industrial engine environments
  • Strong understanding of spare parts identification, parts manuals, BOMs, and technical documentation are required
  • Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems for order processing, pricing, and inventory management
