Preschool Teacher

Job description

We are looking for warm, caring and committed teachers to join our dedicated team of educators. If you love working with young children, are able to build strong relationships with children and their parents, and have qualifications in early childhood education, we welcome you to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

Being an inspiring role model with a positive mindset to children of age 14 months to 4 years old

Plan and deliver preschool programme

Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with school’s policies, philosophy, guidelines and framework.

Plan and prepare age-appropriate and engaging teaching aids.

Set up and create a stimulating and engaging pleasant learning environment that promotes learning.

Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address the children's educational and developmental needs individually.

Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children.

Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child.

Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class/school in carrying out the duties.

To undertake other related duties as and when assigned

Communicate with parents and address any concerns

Maintain and build partnership with parents.


Job Requirements

Diploma in Early Childhood Care Education / Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Certifications in Early Childhood Care Education (DPT/CPT/ACECCE/ACEY)

Educators - Possess Fundamentals or Certificate in Preschool teaching

First Aid Certification will be an advantage

Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching in a childcare/preschool set up

High tolerance threshold towards children Passionate in teaching

Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Effective communication and Teamwork

Open-mindedness

Support the school in organizing events and outreach programme.


Working infromation

Preschool location in centre singapore @ Oxley Rise street

Working days: Monday- Friday

Working Hours: Monday- Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm

Off days: Saturday , Sunday & Public Hoildays

Singaporean & PR's only No qouta for WP
