Responsibilities:

• Monitor glucose levels, blood pressure and other relevant health indicators.
• Support dietary, lifestyle and daily wellness management.
• Monitor food, water and calorie intake according to the agreed care plan.
• Encourage and assist the patient with walking, exercise and suitable daily activities.
• Provide safe mobility and physical assistance when required.
• Observe the patient’s condition and communicate relevant changes promptly.
• Engage the patient positively and provide emotional reassurance.
• Accompany and provide medical and physical care during overseas travel when required.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow medical instructions provided by the treating healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and hold a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience, including bedside or direct patient care.
• Experience in oncology or haematology nursing will be advantageous.
• Able to provide safe physical and mobility assistance to the patient, including supporting walking and transfers where required.
• Caring, patient and positive, with the ability to communicate and engage the patient effectively.
• Able to work five days per week, including selected weekends.
• Willing and able to travel overseas with the patient when required.
