Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production operations in the leather finishing department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery according to production schedules.
• Oversee leather finishing processes, including seasoning, special finishing, felt polishing and glazing.
• Lead, guide and manage a team of 50 or more production staff to achieve production targets and maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure finished leather meets required colour specifications, finishing accuracy and quality standards.
• Work closely with the Dyeing, R&D, Planning, Quality and EHS teams to resolve production and quality issues.
• Monitor production parameters, identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to improve product consistency.
• Manage chemical inventory, coordinate replenishment and minimise material wastage.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and report machinery faults to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Support R&D trials for new finishing recipes, chemical formulations and production techniques.
• Train operators on new processes and ensure compliance with work instructions, risk assessments and safety procedures.
• Maintain proper chemical handling practices, workplace safety and housekeeping standards.

• Salary: $4,000 – $4,500 per month

Requirements:

• Minimum secondary education.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in production finishing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of production finishing processes, machinery and related techniques.
• Proven supervisory experience managing and developing a large team of 50 staff or more.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational and quality issues.
• Basic IT skills and a strong commitment to product quality.
