  • Position : Project Engineer (Refrigeration/HVAC)
  • Location : Ubi Avenue 1
  • Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Up to 18 days Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits
  • Duration : Permanent
  • Industry : Refrigeration and Air-conditioning

Responsibilities:

  • Perform heat load calculations and cold room design for chiller, freezer, and refrigeration systems
  • Select suitable equipment such as compressors, condensing units, evaporators, controls, and related components
  • Prepare technical documents including design reports, submittals, equipment schedules, drawings, and P&ID
  • Coordinate with production team on rack fabrication, piping layout, control panels, and installation details
  • Work closely with R&D team on evaporator design and technical requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers, consultants, contractors, customers, and internal teams to support project execution
  • Assist with BOM preparation, material planning, and project cost coordination
  • Attend customer meetings and site discussions when required
  • Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project-related technical issues

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, or related field
  • Relevant experience in HVAC&R, refrigeration, cold room, or project engineering preferred
  • Basic knowledge of heat load calculation, equipment selection, and technical drawings
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; SolidWorks is a plus
  • Able to read and prepare technical drawings and P&ID
