Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves a comprehensive scope, from pre-tender design to post-construction management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional project management abilities.

Responsibilities

Pre-Tender Design:

• Develop cost-effective and efficient engineering designs for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for materials and submit to the Project Director.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in tender drawings to the client.
• Provide support for additional engineering drawings as required.

Contract and Construction Management:

• Oversee post-contract administration and procedures.
• Monitor the work of consultants and contractors to ensure project adherence to time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Implement effective expenditure control systems.
• Forecast and address potential project challenges.
• Manage contract variations and recommend payments to contractors and consultants.

Post-Construction Management:

• Monitor project completion and defect rectification.
• Ensure the collection of as-built drawings, operation manuals, and warranties.
• Manage final account negotiations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of pre-tender design, contract administration, and project management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams and clients,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both residential and commercial projects.
• Knowledge of M&E filtration system is an advantage
