We are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager within the Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding market to be responsible for driving new business acquisition and expanding the company's presence across APAC (India Focused). This is a hunter-focused role that requires identifying and securing new multinational and regional customers, developing strategic sales opportunities, and building long-term commercial partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored logistics solutions while driving sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities

1. New Business Development & Sales

• Identify, develop, and secure new multinational and regional customers
• Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through solution development, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through market mapping, networking, referrals, and customer engagement.

2. Strategic Customer Acquisition

• Engage with senior decision-makers to understand business challenges and propose tailored contract logistics and freight forwarding solutions.
• Expand the company's footprint by penetrating new markets and industries while identifying opportunities within existing customer networks.
• Support the successful onboarding of new customers, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to operations.

3. Commercial Growth

• Identify opportunities to increase wallet share through cross-selling, upselling, and value-added logistics solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities.
• Develop long-term commercial relationships that drive customer loyalty and recurring business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of business development or sales experience within the 3PL Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry.
• Proven track record of consistently acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets in a hunter-focused role.
• Experience selling integrated logistics or supply chain solutions to multinational and regional customers.
• Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and highly motivated with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
