Your Opportunity

As a Regional Payroll Executive, you will provide end-to-end payroll support to multiple premium brands under the Group's umbrella, directly covering the Australia, New Zealand (ANZ), and Guam markets.

1. End-to-End Payroll Management

  • Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll and manage the full spectrum of payroll functions (data collection, transmission, checking, and journal entries).

  • Interpret and apply Australian Modern Awards (pay rates, allowances, penalty rates, shift loadings) and ensure strict compliance with the Australian Fair Work Act, New Zealand Holidays Act, PAYG, and KiwiSaver.

  • Prepare and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) for Australia and payday filing for New Zealand.

  • Manage statutory/voluntary deductions and ensure timely submission of tax filings, including IRS (941, 940, W-2, W-3) and Guam local tax reports.

  • Partner with external payroll vendors and internal teams to ensure all workflows are compliant and delivered on time.

  • Execute off-cycle pay runs as requested by individual brands.

2. Monthly Closing & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly closing data, headcount reporting, overtime cost reports, and accruals for the Finance team.

  • Liaise closely with Finance on monthly accruals, payroll journals, withholding tax, and deposits.

3. Tax Settlement & Audit Compliance

  • Execute monthly, semi-annual, and yearly income tax returns (including part-time employee returns) and drive year-end tax settlements.

  • Prepare for and support annual external and internal audit procedures, including participating in audit interviews.

4. System Management & Optimization

  • Monitor system integration flows from Workday to local HRIS (e.g., iChris for ANZ).

  • Flag and request system updates in accordance with statutory and tax law changes, and participate in exciting system implementation projects.

5. Employee Experience

  • Act as the go-to expert for payroll enquiries from Brand HR partners and employees via the internal ticketing system.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

  • Min of 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience (exposure to ANZ or US/Guam payroll legislations is highly advantageous).
