Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Engineering & Construction Services
• Position Title: Safety Manager
• Working Location: Islandwide, office at Tuas
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri: 8:45am – 5.30pm, Sat: 8.30am -12.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Transport Allowance + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore’s WSH legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety training for employees, contractors, and site personnel.
• Monitor safety performance and prepare reports for management.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and external parties on safety matters.
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
• Manage emergency response procedures and safety preparedness.
• Advise management and project teams on safety matters.
• Perform other ad hoc assignments and special projects as needed.

• Diploma or professional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of safety management experience, preferably in construction, electrical engineering, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act and relevant regulations.
• Experienced in hazard identification, risk assessment, accident investigation, and safety management systems.
• Possession of own transport is advantageous due to travel between project sites.
