Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate shop drawings, samples and method statements with consultants and subcontractors, and keep all parties updated on changes
• Attend project and technical meetings, and resolve site issues with the owner, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers quickly to minimise delays
• Verify that site works comply with approved drawings, specifications and authority requirements, and ensure subcontractors rectify non-compliance
• Assist site management with project planning, coordination and work sequencing
• Prepare documents for authority submissions such as CONQUAS, RI and TOP
• Study tender and construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Keep documentation current and ready for ISO audits
• Work with the safety department within the site safety framework
• Guide new and junior staff

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant construction experience
• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and local building regulations
• Able to coordinate architectural, structural and M&E works effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a team player in a cross-functional environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Understanding of schedule and productivity criteria
• Experience with a Main Contractor preferred
• Knowledge of BIM and Green Mark is an advantage
