Singapore Polytechnic's Professional and Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy is a leading continuing education and training (CET) academy that advocates the pursuit of lifelong learning and skills mastery. We offer a wide range of training programmes for adult learners to enhance their employability, and partner the industry closely in workforce development.

Reporting to the Manager or equivalent, the Finance role is part of the PACE Finance team focused on executing finance and accounting operations in PACE Academy.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-

  • Support the preparation of budget forecast.
  • Prepare budget submissions (operating and adhoc requests).
  • Monitor and report utilisation of approved budget across PACE.
  • Monitor and ensure sufficient cashflow for PACE business needs.
  • Support accurate and timely financial reporting (adhoc and routine).
  • Analyse financial reports to provide insights for management attention.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on finance policies and procedures.
  • Manage and respond to external enquiries as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

  • At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in financial operations and/or accounting.
  • Positive attitude towards challenging situations.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicants with experience in Public Sector Organisations or training institutions will be advantageous.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
