Working Days & Hours: 3 shifts

Location: West

Job Description:

Triage patients and determine the priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social assessments.

Conduct focused assessments of patients' presenting complaints, medical history, and medications in accordance with established triage guidelines.

Provide safe and patient-centred care while ensuring patient comfort.

Monitor patients regularly, document assessments, and evaluate changes in condition.

Assist clinicians during physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Initiate timely interventions when patient conditions deteriorate or monitoring equipment indicates adverse findings.

Assist in CPR and emergency interventions, working closely with physicians to stabilise patients.

Communicate care plans and treatment updates to patients and their next-of-kin where appropriate.

Coordinate with other departments and healthcare institutions for admissions, transfers, and ongoing patient care.

Accompany critically ill or emergency patients during transfers to other hospitals when required.

Job Requirements: Min Diploma/Degree in Nursing w min 2-3 yrs of relevant experience in A&E/UCC setting
