A global MNC in the marine technology industry, is seeking a Service Coordinator to support its service operations in Singapore. This role is responsible for coordinating customer requests, service activities, documentation, and scheduling to ensure service jobs are delivered efficiently and within agreed timelines.

As a Service Coordinator, you will act as the key coordination point between customers, field service engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams. You will manage service requests from initial enquiry through completion, while maintaining accurate records, coordinating resources, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer enquiries and service requests through phone and email, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Prepare quotations, charges, service requests, and job orders based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and prioritize service schedules with field engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Monitor ongoing service jobs and ensure activities are completed according to agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, customer feedback, and service history in the relevant systems.
  • Provide regular updates on customer accounts, service activities, and outstanding matters to the Service Manager.
  • Monitor recurring service issues and customer feedback, identifying opportunities to improve service processes.
  • Identify opportunities for follow-up services, equipment upgrades, maintenance, and other solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate customer audits, inspections, warranty claims, and supporting documentation where required.
  • Raise purchase requisitions and coordinate the procurement of parts, accessories, and installation materials required for service projects.
  • Prepare shipping and delivery documentation and coordinate the movement of equipment and materials.
  • Arrange travel bookings and other logistical requirements for service personnel.
  • Prepare and issue materials and parts required by technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain organized schedules, filing systems, and documentation for service and project activities.
  • Coordinate schedules across the service team to ensure effective resource planning.
  • Perform other service coordination and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • GCE ‘N’, ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level with 3–4 years of relevant working experience, or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in service coordination, customer service, technical administration, or a related environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple service requests and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is an advantage.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced service environment.
