The Trade and Working Capital Services (TWCS) business provides a wide range of trade finance and trade services solutions to Citi’s corporate, financial institution, and public sector clients around the world. Citi’s global footprint is unique in the industry and provides for unmatched geographic reach and flexibility. Supported by a worldwide network of dedicated and experienced professionals, the TWCS business is well positioned to serve Citi’s clients wherever they conduct their business.

This role is part of TWCS’ In-Business Credit Risk Management (IBCRM) team.  More specifically, the person in this role will join a core group of structuring and credit professionals that focus on preventative controls globally.  The primary responsibility is managing Trade’s Global Deal Review (GDR) approval process for the Asia Clusters where we help deal teams with the structure and documentation of complex facilities.  Additional responsibilities include approving Product Approval Programs (PAPs), advising teams on new structures for submission to Citi's New Activity Committee (NAC), assisting deal teams on structure and documentation matters through a deal’s live cycle, managing the group’s product requirements (Deal Characteristics), participating in detective controls such as portfolio reviews, and supporting various projects and workstreams from a credit risk perspective.

The GDR portion of the role includes reviewing larger or more complex financing requests, making recommendations on structure and documentation, leading calls to review the requests, and summarizing decisions.  GDR is a business selection process (not a credit approval process) that was established to review material TTS Trade deals that meet certain criteria thresholds.  It is a control function for the TWCS business and considers structure (including documentation and operations) and credit as part of its decision-making process.

The IBCRM team is currently based out of New York, London, Miami, and Singapore.  The Credit Review Sr Group Manager – Asia position will be based in Singapore.
