[What the role is]

You will be working in the School of Health & Social Sciences to support the simulation and technical operations for the Paramedicine section.

[What you will be working on]

• Simulation Session Setup and Breakdown: Prepare simulation rooms with necessary equipment, including high fidelity manikins, medical supplies, and audio-visual technology, and clean and clear the equipment after each session.
• Manikin Maintenance and Operation: Perform routine maintenance checks on high-fidelity manikins, troubleshoot technical issues, and operate the manikins during simulation scenarios, ensuring accurate physiological responses.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of teaching supplies, equipment, and manikin parts, and proactively replenish stock to ensure uninterrupted simulation sessions.
• Technical Assistance and Support: Provide technical support to faculty and students during simulation sessions, including troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and assisting with the operation of simulation software.
• Writing and testing of simulation: Run the scenarios to ensure smooth transitions of the scenes in each scenario according to the treatments given.
• Other teaching-related administration duties assigned.
