Job Description

Provide advanced motion-control application support to Sales, Technical Sales and customers through product selection, sizing, configuration, tuning, integration and troubleshooting.

• Review customer machine requirements and recommend suitable motion-control products or configurations.
• Support PLC, EtherCAT, motion-controller, servo-drive and motor applications.
• Perform motion-system, motor and actuator sizing and advise on system architecture.
• Support parameter setting, servo tuning, communication setup and integration.
• Diagnose motion, communication and performance problems and recommend corrective action.
• Conduct product testing, demonstrations and technical evaluations.
• Attend customer visits for advanced technical discussions and develop technical references or training.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics or a related discipline.
• Hands-on motion-control or automation experience in factory automation.
• Practical experience with PLCs, EtherCAT, motion controllers, servo systems and industrial automation.
• Experience in configuration, sizing, parameter setting, tuning, integration and troubleshooting.
• Able to manage multiple technical cases and communicate recommendations clearly to customers.
