Job Purpose

The Cost Analyst – Product Costing is responsible for supporting accurate product cost analysis, maintaining costing models, and providing insightful financial support to enable effective business decision-making. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure product costs are understood, tracked, and reported in a timely and consistent manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and review product costing models and standard cost calculations.
• Analyze manufacturing, material, labor, overhead, and variance data to identify cost drivers and trends.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual product cost reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Monitor changes in material prices, supply chain inputs, and operational factors that may affect product costs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to support accurate cost planning.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis related to product cost assumptions.
• Investigate cost variances and provide clear explanations and recommendations for management review.
• Support pricing analysis, margin reviews, and profitability assessments where required.
• Ensure costing processes, controls, and documentation are maintained inline with company standards.
• Contribute to process improvements, data quality enhancements, and automation initiatives within costing activities.

Typical Skills and Qualifications

• min. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• min. 5 years of experience in product costing, management accounting, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
• Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing or supply chain cost structures ipreferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across finance and operational functions.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a structured approach to work.
• Knowledge of SAP product costing module is a MUST
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
