Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (alternate Saturdays)

Why This Role Exists

This is a focused warehouse and admin role that handles everything between "payment received" and "items leave the building." You will pack smart home project kits for our installation team AND fulfil e-commerce orders. No electrical work, no site visits. Clean, structured, checklist-driven work.

What You Will Do

Smart Home Project Packing - ~50%

• Pack client orders against approved invoices (electrical items + smart home devices)
• Pre-pair smart switches to gateways before bagging (training provided)
• Label, stage, and shelf-ready all packed client kits for field team pickup
• Flag missing items on the whiteboard and on the packing bag
• Cross-check quantities against ClickUp task and Xero invoice
• Receive inbound shipments: count, verify against PO, shelve, and update system
• Review and approve supplier bills in Xero upon physical receipt

E-Commerce Fulfillment - ~30%

• Pick and pack Shopify, Shopee, and Lazada orders daily
• Print shipping labels and apply marketplace-specific packaging requirements
• Video-record all lighting items at pack-out (QC proof against damage claims)
• Apply English stickers over Chinese product labels; include English manuals
• Arrange marketplace courier pickups and manage collection schedules
• Process returns: inspect, restock or flag defective, update system
• Maintain packaging materials inventory (boxes, bubble wrap, stickers, tape)

Inventory and Admin - ~20%

• Maintain accurate stock levels across inventory
• Conduct weekly stock reconciliation (physical count vs system)
• Coordinate with purchasing team on restock needs and arrival dates
• Keep storage areas organized: correct binning, FIFO rotation, clear labeling
• Update ClickUp task statuses as items move through the pipeline
• Log defects: photograph, label, bin, track resolution
• Assist with ad-hoc delivery runs when required (own vehicle preferred)

You Will Be Great At This If You

• Read and write Mandarin - supplier invoices, product labels, PO confirmations, and WeChat comms are in Chinese. This is non-negotiable.
• Are detail-obsessed - you check twice, use checklists, and do not trust your memory
• Work systematically - follow SOPs, update systems in real-time, flag issues immediately instead of waiting
• Are comfortable with tech tools - ClickUp, Xero, Shopify, Shopee/Lazada seller center. Not afraid of learning new platforms.
• Can lift and move stock - boxes of switches, lighting fixtures, networking gear (nothing extreme, but not a desk job)
• Have a Class 3 license and own vehicle - preferred but not required. Needed for occasional delivery backup and supplier pickups.
