Position: WSHO (Registered Safety Officer)
Working Week: 5 Days 
Salary: SGD 6,500 – SGD 8,000 (Highly Negotiable)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

A leading A1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced WSHO to support Workplace Safety, Health and Environmental compliance across major building developments in Singapore. 

The successful candidate will work closely with project management, site teams and subcontractors to maintain high safety and environmental standards throughout construction. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and monitor WSH and environmental requirements across project sites.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and environmental checks to identify potential risks.
• Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
• Monitor subcontractors and site personnel to ensure compliance with established safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and awareness programmes.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe practices and follow through on corrective actions.
• Maintain statutory WSH and environmental documentation, records and reports.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and relevant authorities on safety and environmental matters.

REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in Singapore.
• Relevant WSH experience within the Singapore construction industry.
• ECO qualification / environmental management experience appropriate to the position.
• Experience with a Main Contractor or major building construction projects will be highly advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation, site safety practices and environmental requirements.
• Strong communication, site coordination, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
