ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor delivering major LTA MRT projects across Singapore. We are seeking an experienced Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to manage site safety, regulatory compliance and WSH standards across complex MRT construction works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and maintain WSH policies, procedures and project safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Monitor construction activities and subcontractors for WSH compliance.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and safe work procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and awareness programs.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain WSH documentation, inspection records and statutory reports.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH legislation and LTA project safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma, Degree or professional qualification in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction or related discipline.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the relevant Singapore authority.
• Strong WSH experience within the Singapore construction industry.
• LTA / MRT project experience strongly preferred.
• Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, risk management and construction safety practices.
• Good communication, site coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
