Job description

Our Client is one of the leading player in precision engineering industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Accountant to be part of their Finance team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West Area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and annual financial statements, including XBRL filing
• Handle full sets of accounts, including audit schedules and reporting packages
• Oversee accounts payable processes, invoice postings, and payment processing
• Manage intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the system
• Review staff claims and maintain proper documentation prior to payment
• Monitor cash flow, maintain daily cash positions, and prepare weekly reports
• Manage fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures, and group policies
• Support tax matters, including corporate tax, withholding tax, and GST submissions
• Liaise with external auditors and handle audit-related queries
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions

Requirements:

• Degree in related field
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in manufacturing industry
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite is a bonus
