Our client is a leading engineering and industrial solutions company with a strong presence in Singapore and the region. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Assistant Manager (Total Rewards) to support the organisation’s compensation, benefits, payroll and performance management initiatives. They are located in the North – easily accessible.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of Total Rewards initiatives covering compensation, benefits, performance management, career frameworks and HR digitalisation.
• Manage end-to-end payroll operations and ensure compliance with Singapore statutory requirements, internal controls and company policies.
• Coordinate annual salary review, promotion, bonus and market adjustment exercises, including salary benchmarking, job evaluation and compensation analysis.
• Oversee employee benefits, insurance, medical and welfare programmes, including vendor management, renewals and policy administration.
• Analyse market and internal remuneration data to provide insights on pay structures, allowances and rewards policies.
• Support HRIS, payroll and digital HR projects, including system enhancements, UAT, implementation and process automation.
• Guide junior HR team members and support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in HR, Business or related discipline with 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, particularly in Total Rewards, C&B, payroll or performance management.
• Hands-on knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements, payroll processing, salary reviews, bonus exercises, benefits administration and compensation benchmarking.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with experience in HRIS/payroll systems and HR digitalisation or system enhancement projects.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred, with exposure to engineering, construction, unionised or multi-entity environments being an advantage.
