• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing
• Position Title: Assistant Technician (Steel Fibre)
• Working Location: Gul Circle (6 minutes walk from CR24 MRT)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-12pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary $2,500 + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to draw steel wire and produce steel fibers.
• Maximize efficiency by optimizing raw materials and consumables like wire rods, dies, and lubricants.
• Help prepare Manufacturing Procedure Specifications (MPS) and Quality Control Plans (QCP) for different products.
• Assist in developing a Maintenance Plan for the facility.
• Support product testing and identify necessary changes to meet product standards.
• Maintain and replenish raw material and consumable supplies to ensure ongoing production.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align delivery requirements with production capacity.

• Completion of Secondary 4, GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ levels, or ITE in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics) is preferred.
• Familiar with operating and maintaining machinery.
• Knowledge of wire drawing consumables like dies and lubricants.
• Experience with steel wire drawing equipment and butt welding equipment for joining wires is a plus.
