Our client is a well-established MNC specializing in industrial safety and engineered solutions for hazardous environments. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Business Development Manager (EHT) to join their commercial team. They are located in the (Central West) – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day sales activities to ensure smooth project execution, timely deliveries, and compliance with customer specifications
  • Review and evaluate RFQs, tenders, and project requirements to prepare commercial and technical proposals
  • Conduct technical discussions and clarification meetings with customers regarding project scope and solution requirements
  • Coordinate with regional sales teams, factories, and customers to support project execution and delivery timelines
  • Handle quotation preparation, pricing strategy, order management, and contract follow-up activities
  • Develop and expand business opportunities within industrial sectors including oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, marine, and power industries
  • Maintain and grow relationships with EPC contractors, system integrators, and end users across Singapore and Southeast Asia
  • Monitor project progress, sales pipeline, and account receivables to support business objectives
  • Achieve sales revenue and gross margin targets through strategic account management
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and periodic business reports

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field with minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience
  • Experience in Electrical Heat Tracing (EHT), hazardous area products, process industries, EPC projects, or SEA industrial markets is advantageous
  • Familiar with RFQs, tender submissions, proposal preparation, and technical drawing/specification review
  • Knowledge of IECEx / ATEX standards, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and regional travel readiness preferred
