Job Summary

Our client seeks a skilled Quality Manager to lead global quality best practices, drive improvement initiatives, and advocate customer interests across manufacturing sites, supporting corporate quality targets and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Quality Best Known Method (BKM) sharing system by ensuring effective distribution and implementation of quality BKMs across all sites
• Organize and drive worldwide meetings to review BKM KPIs, identify system gaps, and address weak areas for continuous improvement
• Analyze BKM KPI data to identify improvement opportunities and lead targeted quality enhancement projects
• Support the Quality Capex planning process in collaboration with Corporate Manufacturing and factory teams
• Advocate for “Zero low tech” initiatives by driving global efforts to reduce and eliminate low technology issues in manufacturing
• Lead corporate and customer-driven quality improvement initiatives across all sites to meet corporate quality objectives
• Act as the customer advocate by managing escalations and facilitating communication between factories, customers, and stakeholders including business units and sales teams
• Project and communicate Amkor’s quality confidence and proactive approach to customers
• Promote corporate quality initiatives to customers and internal teams
• Collaborate with cross-cultural and global teams to influence quality outcomes and drive customer satisfaction
• Communicate and present quality-related information effectively in both small and large group settings
• Utilize MS Office Suite proficiently to support quality reporting and presentations
• Apply problem-solving and organizational skills to manage daily customer support and ongoing quality programs
• Work independently and collaboratively within worldwide cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of IATF16949 and VDA6.3 standards
• Experience with quality system tools such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, MSA, and APQP
• Project management and customer management skills with experience interfacing with customers and driving projects to meet customer requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance within semiconductor manufacturing or a similar industry
