Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise local and overseas accounting teams to ensure the smooth management of financial operations, accounting systems, and the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Assist with financial planning, strategic decision-making, and other finance related matters.
• Manage all corporate tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST) matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Oversee the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including the preparation and maintenance of a full set of accounts.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports, budgets, and financial analyses to support business decisions.
• Oversee day-to-day financial and accounting activities, ensuring adherence to established corporate financial policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain proper accounting records and controls for fixed assets.
• Establish, enhance, and document internal control policies, processes, and procedures to strengthen financial governance.
• Manage regional treasury operations, including cash flow management across all countries, credit control, foreign exchange transactions, bank guarantees, and trade financing arrangements (Import and Export Letters of Credit).
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements and management reports for regional operations across Asia.
• Coordinate and maintain professional relationships with bankers, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, statutory boards, and other relevant regulatory authorities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA will be an added advantage.
• Preferably at least 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Proficient in Accounting software (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) will be an advantage.
• Strong team player with proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships, collaborate with various stakeholders, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
• Practical experience in financial consolidation and audit processes.
• Regional accounting experience across Asian markets is preferred.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese to liaise with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business-related assignments.
