We are looking for a self-driven and resourceful Freelance Business Development Executive to support the growth of our recruitment and HR consultancy business.

This role focuses primarily on identifying, developing and securing new corporate clients. Upon successful client acquisition, the ongoing recruitment and account servicing activities will be supported by our dedicated Account Servicing and Recruitment teams, allowing you to focus on developing new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across recruitment, staffing and HR solutions.
• Research, prospect and approach potential corporate clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals and other business development channels.
• Build and develop relationships with HR professionals, hiring managers, business owners and key decision-makers.
• Understand prospective clients' recruitment and manpower requirements and introduce suitable recruitment and HR solutions.
• Arrange meetings and present Ascension Advisory's recruitment and HR consultancy services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and conduct business discussions and negotiate commercial terms with prospective clients.
• Convert qualified prospects into new client accounts and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and follow up on potential opportunities.
• Work closely with the Account Servicing and Recruitment teams to ensure a smooth handover of newly acquired clients.
• Continuously identify opportunities to expand the company's client base and generate new revenue.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Recruitment, Staffing, HR Consultancy or related industries will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, networking, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Confident in independently identifying, prospecting and approaching corporate clients and key decision-makers.
• Results-oriented with a strong interest in sales and new business development.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working under a freelance, commission-only remuneration structure.
• Existing corporate networks, HR contacts or business connections will be an added advantage.
