Plaque of Commendation (Gold) – NTUC May Day Awards 2026[What you will be working on]
As a lecturer in the School of Mathematical Sciences & Analytics, you will be primarily responsible for teaching Statistics with the ability to also teach in at least one complementary area such as
Artificial Intelligence (AI),
Data Analytics,
Programming, or
Mathematics.
In line with SP's Common Core Curriculum, you will also be expected to teach at least one interdisciplinary module, which may include:
Data Fluency
Artificial Intelligence & Its Impact
Persuasive Communication with Data Storytelling
Problem Solving with Creative and Computational Thinking
Beyond the classroom, you will play an active role in shaping and evolving the curriculum. This includes:
Developing and reviewing course materials and assessments to enhance student learning, performance, and employability
Staying current with trends and developments in Mathematics to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up to date
Designing new class activities and contributing to pedagogical innovation to enrich the student learning experience
