Nurture Pods is an established early intervention centre supporting children with developmental needs in Singapore. We are committed to helping every child reach their developmental potential through individualized, evidence-based early intervention delivered by a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Nurture Pods is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Early Intervention team. You will assessand support children and individuals with developmental needs across fine motor, sensory processing, self-care and functional skill areas, working closely with EI teachers, other Allied Health Professionals and families to help each child reach their fullest developmental potential. This role suits a therapist who enjoys hands-on paediatric practice as well as close, ongoing collaborationwithin a school-based, multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Therapy Planning

•    Conduct occupational therapy assessments

•    Establish individualized therapy goals in coordination with the EI teaching team.

•    Plan and deliver individual and/or group therapy sessions, adapting strategies, activities and equipment to each child's functioning level and needs.

•    Regularly review and document each child's progress

Collaboration & Documentation

•    Work closely with EI team to ensure a consistent, integrated approach to each child's development.

•    Contribute to case reviews, team discussions and program planning, and support transition planning to the next school setting.

•    Maintain clear, timely and accurate therapy documentation.

Family & Caregiver Engagement

•    Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and caregivers on their child's progress, therapy goals and strategies for support.

•    Equip caregivers with practical strategies and home-based activities to reinforce therapy goals.

Requirements

•    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.

•    Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore, or eligible for registration.

•    Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience working with children with developmental and learning needs.

•    Good understanding of child development, sensory integration and early intervention practices.
