Job Summary

Support culinary operations by preparing food items to quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and following instructions from senior chefs to ensure efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete assigned culinary tasks accurately and efficiently
• Adapt work schedule to meet business needs, including availability for any day or shift
• Focus on completing one task at a time to maintain quality and efficiency
• Complete work lists assigned by Chef de Partie within the designated time frame
• Ensure food items meet quality and sanitary standards by applying "First In First Out" (FIFO) kitchen practice
• Store all food products correctly in designated fridges and containers during shifts to maintain freshness and safety
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in all culinary work areas and ensure colleagues clean their stations after each service
• Use kitchen equipment safely and properly at all times and guide colleagues on correct usage

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant culinary experience
