Quality Engineer (ISO 9001/AS9100/ISO 14644/SEMI/ CQE/CQT)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality control plans, procedures, standards, and inspection protocols for equipment manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, and suppliers to identify quality risks and ensure product quality throughout the production process.
• Establish, monitor, and report quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), including defect rates, yield, throughput, and overall quality performance.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and process reviews to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001, AS9100, SEMI, CE, and UL standards.
• Lead investigations of quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies.
• Support semiconductor manufacturing requirements, including cleanroom operations, contamination control, equipment reliability, and maintainability programs.
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with quality management system requirements.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and key stakeholders.
• Partner with design and engineering teams to support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR) initiatives.
• Develop and conduct quality-related training programs to enhance employee awareness, competency, and compliance with quality procedures and standards.

Requirements

• Min bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Quality Engineering, or related field.
• Min 4 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field in the semiconductor industry.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) preferred.
• Experience with front-end equipment manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles (e.g., ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficient in statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AGILE).
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings is required.
