Quantity Surveyor

Salary: $3,000 – $5,000 per month
Location: East
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and contract administration functions within a construction environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in preparing tender submissions, managing project cost documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Cost Estimation

• Prepare and submit tender documents in accordance with project requirements and deadlines.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to support accurate pricing.
• Source and compile quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.

Contract Administration

• Manage progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final account preparation.
• Ensure timely submission and certification of claims for payment.
• Maintain proper documentation of all contract-related processes.

Project Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to support project execution.
• Facilitate certification of payment claims and resolve related issues where necessary.
• Monitor project cost performance and highlight discrepancies.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of tenders, claims, and cost reports.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of tendering and contract administration processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
