Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: $4,000 – $6,500 per month
Location: East
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and contract management functions within a construction environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tender submissions, managing project cost documentation, and supporting contract administration to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Cost Estimation

• Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documents in accordance with project requirements and deadlines.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate pricing and submissions.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.

Contract Administration

• Manage progress claims, variation orders, and final account preparation.
• Ensure timely submission and certification of claims for payment.
• Maintain proper documentation for all contract-related processes.

Project Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to support project execution and payment certification.
• Monitor project cost performance and highlight potential risks or discrepancies.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure all submissions comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, claims, and cost reports.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction contract administration.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of tendering processes and contract administration.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
