Responsibilities:
Source, negotiate and manage freight forwarders for all deliveries.
Prepare and issue logistics/ purchase requisition.
Monitor freight forwarder performance and perform cost reduction initiatives in all logistics activities.
Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely delivery as stipulated in the contract/ purchase order.
Prepare and handle full set of shipping documents including LC documentation, COO, Insurance, delivery order, packing list, commercial invoice, monthly reports etc.
Coordinate with Finance team on shipping payment, invoices, warranty and LC negotiation.
Monitor and update delivery status on weekly basis.
Compile reports for management review.
Coordinate on delivery inspection and expediting works.
Interact and communicate with internal and external customers on order/ delivery status.
Other projects and ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
Participate in HSE matters
Ensure activities in comply with the HSE policy, objectives, and procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma/ Degree in related discipline or equivalent.
At least 2 years of related experience within the industry.
Experience working with ERP, AX, or other documentation software.
Freight and logistic handling
Letter of credit management
