The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an established retail organisation to hire a Social Compliance Auditor. This role will support the execution of social compliance programmes across the supplier network, ensuring vendors and factories operate in line with company standards, local regulations, labour laws, human rights, ethical and environmental requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external audit partners and regional factories to plan audits, review findings and follow through on corrective action plans.

  • Full-time, permanent opportunity 
  • Work location: Central region
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri | 9am - 6pm (hybrid work arrangement available)


Job scope:

  • Support the execution of social compliance programmes across regional suppliers and factories
  • Work with internal teams and third-party service providers to plan, coordinate and monitor audit activities
  • Participate in the vendor selection process by assessing supplier compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct social compliance audits for factories across Asia markets, including China, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and Bangladesh
  • Review audit reports, identify non-compliance findings and escalate key issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to establish, track and follow through on corrective action plans
  • Maintain proper audit documentation, compliance records, audit schedules and corrective action updates
  • Keep updated on social compliance standards, audit protocols and regulatory requirements across relevant markets

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in social compliance assessment, factory audits or supplier compliance
  • Familiar with international social compliance programmes and audit protocols such as ICTI, BSCI, SA8000, WRAP or SEDEX
  • Auditor training or internationally recognised audit certification will be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of labour standards, ethical sourcing, human rights, factory compliance and audit requirements
  • Able to review audit findings, identify compliance gaps and drive corrective action follow-up with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in written Mandarin is required, as the role involves reviewing and preparing Chinese-language audit documents.
