The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an established retail organisation to hire a Sourcing Specialist (Apparel). This role will support the end-to-end sourcing process for the specific apparel category, from sample development and fabric coordination to vendor follow-up, costing, production tracking and shipment support. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure development timelines, quality expectations and delivery requirements are met.

• Permanent, full-time opportunity
• Work location: Central region
• Work hours: Mon-Fri | 9am - 6pm (flexible work arrangement after confirmation)

Job scope:

• Manage apparel sourcing activities across seasonal buying cycles, from development follow-up to production coordination
• Coordinate with vendors on fabric, samples, costing, order details and production updates
• Track development and production timelines to ensure key milestones and shipment schedules are met
• Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues relating to sample development, quality, delivery or production delays
• Support cost discussions and ensure timely updates are provided to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain accurate sourcing records, reports, system updates and documentation
• Support the Sourcing Manager in meeting seasonal deliverables, operational KPIs and business requirements
• Assist in process improvement initiatives, administrative duties and ad-hoc projects where required

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in apparel sourcing, merchandising and product development
• Prior experience in a buying/sourcing office or apparel retail environment will be highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of garment development, vendor coordination, costing and critical path tracking
• Strong attention to detail, tight follow-up, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel functions such as Pivot Table and VLOOKUP
