About the Role:

• We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Consultant to join a growing technology team supporting telecommunications customers across the region.
• This role combines technical consulting, customer engagement and solution design, working closely with sales and delivery teams to develop solutions that address customer business needs.
• The ideal candidate has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, particularly in Business Support Systems (BSS), and is comfortable engaging customers throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers to understand business objectives, operational challenges and technical requirements.
• Design and recommend solution architectures that meet customer needs while aligning with product capabilities.
• Support the sales team throughout the pre-sales process, including technical discussions, solution positioning and proposal preparation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops and Proof of Concept (POC) sessions where required.
• Gather, analyse and document customer requirements for solution design and implementation planning.
• Prepare technical responses for RFIs, RFPs and tender submissions.
• Work with product management, engineering and delivery teams to assess solution feasibility and implementation approach.
• Coordinate release planning and solution delivery to support successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation and assist in resolving customer issues where necessary.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by providing professional technical advice and consultation.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Business Support Systems (BSS).
• Experience preparing and supporting RFPs, RFIs, technical proposals and solution presentations.
• Experience working with telecommunications operators or telecom solution vendors will be an advantage.
• Regional project or customer engagement experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skillsets:

• Telecom OSS/BSS platforms.
• Enterprise software implementation or system integration.
• Cloud-based enterprise solutions.
