Core Role & Objectives

  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with the student management team, form teachers, and school counsellors to investigate misconduct and deliver structured rehabilitation, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Misconduct Investigations:

  • Gather information via interviews (students, victims, witnesses) and review evidence (CCTV footage, written statements).

  • Document findings objectively, prepare concise reports for the discipline committee, and ensure a fair, trauma-informed process.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and liaise with external agencies (e.g., Singapore Police Force, MSF, Child Protective Services) when escalation is required.

Rehabilitation & Student Support:

  • Conduct one-on-one check-ins with students to monitor progress and mentor them.

  • Engage parents and guardians as partners through updates and joint meetings.

Preventive Patrols:

  • Conduct regular walkabouts within the school and surrounding neighborhood districts to deter and detect rule violations, such as smoking and vaping.

Administration & Coordination:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of cases and rehabilitation plans, prepare progress reports, coordinate with community partners, and attend professional development as required.

Working Hours & Schedule

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break).

  • Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break).

  • Off Days: Weekends and gazetted public holidays.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Diploma from a local polytechnic or equivalent, preferably in a related field.

  • Professional Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience working with youths in a school, social service, law enforcement, or community setting.

  • Case Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting investigations or handling case management.

Required Skills

  • Communication & Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
