Bayes is representing an International Specialist Contractor on a Business Development, Tenders & Bids Management role

• Drive new client and project acquisition to meet sales and profitability targets in the geotechnical/ground engineering construction sector

• Build market intelligence, client networks and strong relationships

• Track industry trends and competitor activity

• Review tender team bid proposals and make go/no-go decisions with senior leadership

• Act as Bid Manager on major projects and lead client negotiations on bid and contract terms

• Coach and develop the business development and tender teams to hit performance targets

• Champion and safeguard the company's brand and reputation

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant Engineering or Business related discipline with 3-5 years of direct Business Development related exposure

• Experience within the Built-Environment will be required, but not specific to Construction. Acceptable markets such as Construction/Main-Con/Sub-Con Tenders/QS, Consultancy, Architectural Solutions, Building Products are applicable

• The ability to present and carry yourself well is important for the success of this role.
